It operates through a network of 15 full-service branches located in the counties of Dinwiddie, Sussex, Surry, Prince George, Greensville, Southampton, Isle of Wight, and Chesterfield; and the cities of Petersburg, Emporia, Colonial Heights, Franklin, Smithfield, and Chester. The Bank of Southside Virginia Corporation was founded in 1905 and is based in Carson, Virginia.
